Overview

As a Veterinary Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic. Your leadership will inspire our dedicated team to provide exceptional care for our furry patients while maintaining a welcoming environment for pet owners. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with veterinary standards, all while fostering a culture of compassion and teamwork.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage the veterinary team, promoting a positive work atmosphere and encouraging professional development.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and medical record maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards of care, including aseptic techniques and animal handling protocols.
  • Manage financial processes such as medical collections and budgeting to maintain clinic profitability.
  • Coordinate patient care by facilitating communication between veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners regarding treatment plans and follow-ups.
  • Implement effective animal husbandry practices to enhance the health and well-being of all animals in our care.
  • Provide training on veterinary terminology, animal restraint techniques, and proper handling procedures for staff members.
  • Foster relationships with clients by offering exceptional customer service and addressing their concerns with empathy.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a veterinary setting with strong knowledge of animal anatomy and care practices.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a veterinary hospital setting required, and critical care is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures will be advantageous.
  • Veterinary technician skills are preferred to enhance patient care capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
