Job Description

We have been in the valley for over 16 years, and we are looking to expand our team. The warehouse materials handler will be responsible for sending, receiving, and all movement of materials to and from the warehouse and external yard storage. Daily tasks will compose of numerous duties: within the warehouse and yard.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Load and unload freight in and efficient and safe manner. Pull customers' orders according to packing slip. An absolute must when it comes to detail. Some materials movement may require hands-on work.
  • Must have forklift driving experience.
  • Must be able to work in warehouse and storage yard.
  • Handle impromptu requests and simultaneously work on multiple requests.
  • Learning Sun Stone Supply's systems and procedures to enhance office efficiency and complete support duties.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of internal employees and clients.
  • Be willing to learn and memorize company's basic products.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: High school education and prior secretarial and administrative experience desirable, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read and write proficient English.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires candidate to be able to lift at least 60lbs by hand.
  • Other Skills: Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with strong organizational skills is a must
  • Work Hours: Available to work a standard work week (Mon-Fri 8AM to 5PM and Sat 9AM to 1PM), occasionally may include overtime and holidays.
  • Languages: English is required. Additional languages a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
