About the Role:
The Regional Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and profitability of within a designated geographic area. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to expand market share, enhance customer satisfaction, and optimize operational efficiency. The manager will lead their individual portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of high performance.
By analyzing market trends and customer needs, the Regional Territory Manager will identify new business opportunities and tailor solutions to meet client demands. Ultimately, this role ensures the successful management of resources and relationships to achieve sustained business success across the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and support individual portfolios to maximize productivity and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the territory.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market conditions to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across all operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- The Regional Territory Manager utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to motivate and guide them in achieving sales objectives.
- Analytical skills are essential for interpreting market data and customer insights to make informed strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in negotiation and relationship-building helps in securing and maintaining key client accounts.
- Organizational and time management skills enable the manager to coordinate multiple projects and travel schedules efficiently.
- Additionally, technical skills related to CRM and sales software support effective tracking of performance metrics and operational workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Familiarity with regional market regulations and compliance requirements.
- Additional certifications in sales management or supply chain logistics.
