Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho is a long-term acute care hospital dedicated to patients with serious, medically complex conditions that require extended hospitalization and specialized care. We provide advanced critical care services for individuals recovering from severe illness or injury – including ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy, complex wound care, post-intensive care rehabilitation, and management of multiple organ system conditions. Our highly skilled team of physicians, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists deliver around-the-clock care with a focus on stabilizing health and promoting recovery. The hospital features advanced monitoring equipment and all private rooms to enhance patient comfort and safety. North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital is expanding its services and will be opening an in-patient rehabilitation (IRU) unit to pair with its long-term acute care beds. The IRU will provide acute rehabilitation services to patients with neurologic, orthopedic, cardiac and respiratory disease. Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent in in education or experience required.
- Food Handlers License required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements and use of Nutritional Care Manual.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing healthy food for patients, employees, and visitors. Prepares food ensuring that strict safety standards are followed. Creates menus and orders supplies for the hospital kitchen and cafeteria. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
