Job Overview

Our karaoke lounge, located in Midtown on 38th Street, is under new management We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team and help create an exceptional dining and entertainment experience for our guests.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a lively environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. As a Server, you will ensure that guests have a fun, comfortable, and memorable time by providing prompt and attentive service throughout their visit.

Starting Wage: $10/hour + tips

Looking for part time - Tue, Sat, Sun (3 days a week)

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
  • Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Assist with guest relations by providing personalized service and addressing special requests.

Experience

  • Must be 21+
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in karaoke.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations in the food industry.
