North American Coating Laboratories (NACL) is an industry leading optical coating provider servicing customers across the United States as well as around the globe. At NACL, we provide hi-technology coatings for endless industries including:

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Maintain and repair machinery and equipment, including but not limited to, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Primary equipment is vacuum coating machines.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of preventive maintenance software
  • CNC machine operation
  • Identify and resolve HVAC issues, specifically refrigeration
  • Fabrication and welding
  • Electrical/electronic troubleshooting

Previous experience required:

  • 3+ years prior experience in an equipment maintenance role with proven growth
  • CNC machining experience
  • Welding experience
  • Vacuum technology, prior experience and/or knowledge helpful but not required

Preferred knowledge/skills:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with vacuum pumps and technology helpful
  • Welding experience
  • Experience with a preventive maintenance program, such as Maintain X
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for accurately assessing, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues with a sense of urgency
  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Leadership experience a plus
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Computer savvy – proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel and Outlook

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • HVAC Certification
