Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring efficient cash handling.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices in food handling and preparation.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred but willing to train the right person.
• Familiarity with POS or other point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer; ability to create unique drink recipes is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods efficiently.
• Proven cash handling experience with attention to detail in processing transactions.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
