is seeking a
Senior Accountant
to join our Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the fund and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while providing insights to enhance financial performance. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to grow their career in the finance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Oversee and maintain general ledger accounts, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records and adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and provide guidance.
  • Prepare investor reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Manage and execute the complex monthly and annual closing processes, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, preparing documentation and supporting the audit process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • finance, preferably in the investment industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
