Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with menu planning and daily meal preparation
  • Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
  • Support catering events and special functions as needed
  • Properly store ingredients and manage inventory levels
  • Serve food in accordance with restaurant procedures and customer service standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service roles
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Experience with menu planning and fine dining cuisine is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with catering, serving, and general kitchen operations within the food industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
