Director of Campus Auxiliary Services

The Director of Campus Auxiliary Services is responsible for the vision, planning, management, and execution of the school's summer and extended-day programs and auxiliary services. This includes designing enriching experiences aligned with the mission of the school, creating an annual marketing program to ensure target profit goals, supervising seasonal staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, and overseeing in-person the daily operations of a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for all student participants. The Director of Campus Auxiliary Services works under the guidance of the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Leadership and the CFOO to ensure program alignment and meet revenue targets.
Essential Responsibilities:
Summer and Auxiliary Program Creation and Management
Ensure that program participants have a safe and positive experience such that they return and/or recommend our programs to others.
● Build, oversee, and manage all auxiliary programs, including but not limited to: camps (summer and vacation), extended day programs, private instruction, and facility rentals
● Grow and leverage external partnerships and cutting-edge tech platforms to enhance revenue and build efficiencies
● Provide an appropriately safe, caring, and enriching environment for all auxiliary program participants
● Establish routines, provide positive guidance, and enforce policies and procedures, including disciplinary policies, in accordance with Stuart's stated values
● Recruit and hire all Stuart auxiliary program employees. Provide ongoing training, supervision, administrative oversight, professional development, and evaluation of all faculty and staff of auxiliary programs
● Oversee all aspects of campus rentals by creating policies, protocols, and procedures for facilities usage and pricing for all events and programs on Stuart's campus beyond the regular school day
Recruitment, Marketing, and Communication
Effectively promote the programs to achieve the enrollment and revenue targets.
● Serve as the primary recruiter to all programs and manage the activities of others charged with recruitment
● In coordination with the Director of Marketing and Communications, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for all auxiliary programs that aligns with the school's strategic branding initiatives
● Ensure that all auxiliary programs have an effective and accurate internet presence, including website, social media, and digital marketing that align with the school's branding
● Plan and coordinate the publishing and advertising of programs and schedules
● Write and distribute regular communications among auxiliary program constituencies that effectively provide updated information and a sense of community
● Work closely with the Director of Enrollment to identify and follow up with participants who have strong potential to convert to Stuart School student prospects
● As appropriate, accompany Admissions Office staff to regional marketing events and receptions
Administrative and Operational Responsibilities
● Support the Director of Strategic Initiatives and CFOO to execute strategic initiatives.
● The role requires flexibility in hours, including early mornings and occasional evenings/weekends, in addition to on-site during the camp seasons.
● Ensure that the administration of the programs is efficient and effective.
● Oversee registration for all auxiliary programs
● Ensure the auxiliary programs database is accurate and comprehensive
● Prepare reports for, and communicate with, Stuart School leadership to ensure awareness of auxiliary program performance
● Execute and oversee all contracts related to programs
● Ensure that all auxiliary programs are in compliance with all applicable regulations of licensing and governing entities

● Demonstrated effectiveness in growing and leveraging external partnerships and cutting-edge tech platforms to enhance revenue and build efficiencies

The hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 with commissions. Compensation offered will be based upon a candidate's education, years of experience, skill set and internal equity.
