Who We're Looking For

We're seeking skilled independent contractors who:

  • Have hands-on experience cleaning and maintaining commercial kitchens (restaurants, catering facilities, etc.).
  • Can work efficiently and independently while maintaining high sanitation standards.
  • Have their own cleaning supplies and equipment (degreaser, microfiber cloths, mops, etc.).
  • Are dependable, professional, and communicative.
  • Understand proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Position Overview

This is an independent contractor role for cleaners providing ongoing and deep cleaning services for commercial kitchens, including:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, appliances, and cooking equipment.
  • Degreasing appliances, floors, and walls (no hood cleaning).
  • Washing and organizing tools, pans, and utensils after use.
  • Maintaining restrooms and break areas.
  • Ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Follow checklists and meet client expectations for quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Communicate promptly with the His & Hers Cleaners team about scheduling, supplies, or site issues.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial kitchen cleaning or janitorial services.
  • Must have own cleaning supplies and professional-grade equipment.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Operate as a registered business or independent subcontractor.
  • General liability insurance required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong time management, reliability, and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform deep cleaning and heavy-duty tasks.
