POSITION OVERVIEW
The Class B Delivery Driver within our organization is responsible for the transportation of products, proficiently operating commercial vehicles, and executing safe loading/unloading procedures at both customer and company sites. In strict adherence to safety regulations, the Class B Delivery Driver consistently upholds effective communication with management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Efficiently pick up and deliver the company's products from plants and warehouses to distribution centers and grocery stores using refrigerated trucksEnsure complete and accurate Department of Transportation (DOT) logs, whether electronic or manual, as requiredMaintain company vehicle by submitting Maintenance Defect reports and reconcile with the appropriate company representative Obtain and submit receipts, bills of loading, and signatures for delivered goods promptlyLoad and unload products by hand, utilizing hand carts and pallet jacks to prevent damage and ensure load stabilityOther duties as assignedQualifications
High school graduate or equivalentCDL Class B license in good standing1+ years of CDL Class B driving experienceProven record of solid attendance and employmentComputer proficiency and comfortability with working with machinery Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment Ability to work with a sense of urgency and efficiency to complete team goals Ability to maintain good manufacturing practices and safe food handling measuresWeekend availabilityEnvironment
