Top Skills & Years of Experience:

  • Gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL - 6 years.
  • Using ETL tools to design ETL jobs (ETL 6 years, preferably 2 years of with Alteryx).
  • Developing various types of data loads (e.g. incremental, history/full, survivorship rules) - 6 years.
  • Implementing change data capture (CDC) - 4 years.
  • Testing and debugging ETL - 6 years.
  • Developing complex SQL - 6 years.
  • ETL job scheduling - 2 years.
  • Loading data warehouses using ETL tools - 2 years.

Nice To Have

  • Management of multiple ETL tools.
  • Experience with data quality tools and frameworks - preferred.
  • Using source code version control software - preferred.

What You'll Do
Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize ETL workflows using industry-standard tools (preferably Alteryx and SSIS).
  • Develop various types of data loads (incremental, historical/full, survivorship rules).
  • Mentoring others on ETL development.
  • Managing multiple, concurrent projects and tasks.
  • Test, debug, and optimize ETL jobs for performance and accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain Change Data Capture (CDC) processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using automated scheduling tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions supporting organizational goals.
  • Load and manage data warehouses to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
