Facilities Coordinator needed to coordinate all facility improvements, maintenance of HVAC systems, fire systems, plumbing, flooring, construction on all properties.

Responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all physical plant and building systems including capital projects, landscaping, janitorial, electrical, HVAC system. Site management, building and occupant safety and security. With other designated managers, develops and coordinates organizational contingency information and emergency and safety plans and systems. Facilitates planning and monitoring of activities. Oversees the integration of performance and quality measures and assurance to all facilities.

Overall Physical Demands

Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.

Major Activities

Monitors performance, implementation of standard repairs to all building systems, including electrical, heating, ventilation, and cooling; and as appropriate,

Non-technical maintenance tasks such as cleaning.

Adjustments of system controls, plumbing maintenance, carpentry maintenance, etc. Maintains and monitors inventory of materials and supplies. Coordinates, oversees,

supports and backs-up all facilities related activities.

Facilities assessment, development and evaluation of physical plant needs in order to support organizational facility priorities and goals.

Ensures accurate and timely completion of documentation and reporting for funders, as well as Board and other program reports prepare regular assessments of programs for analysis and feedback.

Develops and maintains strong working relationships and communication with programs and staff, to ensure the efficient and effective integration and development of HW

campus and physical plant aligned with clients, staff and programmatic

Monitors progress of construction/renovation projects and coordinates the efforts of all parties involved, including the Executive Director/senior management, architects,

consultants, contractors, subcontractors as appropriate.

Maintains strict adherence to quality and safety standards, as well as budgetary guidelines.

Attends management meetings, all staff meetings, and other meetings as required.

Performs general maintenance, custodial and trash removal tasks. Performs snow removal, as required. Salts down stairs in cold weather.

Coordinates special projects as requested. Some minor issues such as hanging boards and changing industrial light fixtures as needed.

Duties may be changed based on agency needs.

Requires experience managing a facility or facilities.

Must have broad experience from HVAC to construction to plumbing.
