The
Customer Service Representative
plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. The primary responsibility will be to act as a liaison between the customers and various internal departments, ensuring that their inquiries, concerns, and requests are addressed promptly and effectively. The focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a deep understanding of our manufacturing processes, products, and services. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with some overtime required. The salary range is $21-$24 per hour depending on experience and education. 1-2 years customer service experience; preferably in metal coatings or related industry in a manufacturing environment.

How You Will Rock The Role
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for billing.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Maintain customer records, contact information and special instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
- Collect, analyze and present customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Recommend improvements to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our manufacturing processes, product specifications, and technical details.
Talents and Credentials:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Some college a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years customer service experience; preferably in metal coatings or related industry in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite; Epicor and CRM experience a plus.
