Overview

We are looking to add an experienced bartender to our team, with at least one year of work experience as a bartender. We provide an authentic and elevated sushi dining experience, and seek a candidate who will fit in with our team and clientele. An open schedule is preferable, but we can also work with restrictions and provide flexibility in scheduling.

Duties

- Prepare and serve house/ classic cocktails, and house mocktails according to recipes and formulas.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including prep area in kitchen and bar fridges/ cellar area.

- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction with their food and drinks.

- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management.

- Follow rules set in place for bar safety and functionality.

- Maintain a friendly demeanor in high pressure periods, maintain respect with coworkers.

- Keep up with bar products and dates of perishables.

- Stay updated on drink trends, cocktail recipes, and menu changes to enhance guest experiences.

Skills

- Strong bartending skills with knowledge of various drink recipes and spirits, as well as flavor profiles.

- Excellent hospitality skills, demonstrating the ability to create an enjoyable experience for guests.

- Ability to batch cocktails/ syrups and assist in recipe creating.

- Knowledge of glasswares and bar tools and how to use them.

- Being able to upsell and learn descriptions of all dishes that we offer.

- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations typical of fine dining establishments.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
