Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Foreman with extensive experience in hardscaping installation, site development, and crew leadership to lead and oversee landscape construction projects. In this vital role, you will oversee day to day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence across all projects while fostering a positive team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape outdoor spaces and deliver outstanding results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise landscape and hardscape crews, assigning daily tasks related to residential and commercial projects.
  • Interpret blueprints, site plans, and grading/drainage drawings
  • Manage construction projects including installing hardscapes, planting landscape beds, retaining walls, free standing walls, fencing and other landscape features with precision and attention to detail.
  • Accurately interpret project plans and install predesignated paver patterns, maintaining precise alignment, spacing, and design integrity
  • Interpret and accurately execute a landscape design planting scheme including planting trees of all level of maturity
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, conduct safety meetings, coordinate permitting requirements, ensure job site compliance, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and team members to plan project timelines, materials procurement, and execution strategies.
  • Conduct on-site surveying, layout, and elevation checks
  • Train , mentor, and develop crew members
  • Monitor productivity and manage labor and material budgets

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-10 years of proven experience in landscape installations with a strong understanding of the engineering associated with construction specifications.
  • Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
  • Expert level knowledge of retaining walls, pavers, flagstone, boulders, stairs, and concrete work. Site grading, drainage, and erosion control systems. Surveying methods, layout, and level/grade setting. Permitting processes and inspections
  • Proven ability to manage crews, schedule workloads, and coach team members
  • Horticultural and agronomic knowledge understanding how to prevent, identify, and rectify negative issues imparted by construction processes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate all equipment associated with landscape construction in a safe and effective manner
  • Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
