An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for supervising B4Babies employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for collaborating with community partners to increase awareness and referrals for B4Babies and Food Security initiatives by improving community perceptions and reducing the stigma and other barriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct oneself as a leader committed to the program's betterment and growth by offering solutions, developing processes, promoting communication with others, and taking ownership of the B4Babies Program.

  2. Monitor Medicaid/SNAP enrollment and advise staff on client cases. Monitor goals and outcomes and adjust programming as needed to maximize effectiveness

  3. Oversee data collection systems and outcomes including verifying data, interfacing with contracted statisticians, disseminating results, and addressing concerns that arise from the data.

  4. Manage the business aspects of the program. Monitor and operate within the established operational budget. Adhere to program financials and budget, code expenses to appropriate cost centers, purchasing, and program implementation.

  5. Provide funder and grant oversight; ensure completion of monthly, quarterly and annual program reporting and goal adherence.

  6. Establish Hilltop as a pivotal agency providing pre-natal education, Medicaid assistance and food security within the community through outreach and marketing.

  7. Assist in program design including developing and implementing appropriate programming based on need, with the Program Manager.

  8. Assist with planning and implementation of transitioning to a regional program.

  9. Collaborate with other programs and agencies to benefit clients and programs.

  10. Build and maintain community relationships by attending appropriate meetings within the community and communicating with partner agencies to ensure program goals are met.

  11. Facilitate trainings and outreach events to educate community members about services offered and provide education about car seat safety, prenatal education, and best practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree or four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid Colorado Driver's License
  • Certifications in related topics (ex: HCG Certification, CBMS, NCPS)
  • CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (Preferred)
