Overview Of The Role
Our global beauty client is seeking a
Business Analyst
to support a transformation initiative focused on modernizing code creation processes and technology. This role sits within a Data Center of Excellence and requires a strong foundation in master data management, data profiling, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams to ensure alignment throughout design, testing, and implementation phases.

The Basics

• Duration: 5 months
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid in New York City (2-3 times a week onsite a week)

Top 3 Required Qualifications

• Master Data Expertise - Proven experience with taxonomy, data modeling, governance, and literacy tools
• Advanced Excel & Data Profiling - Ability to perform complex data validation and mapping tasks
• Requirements Gathering & Communication - Strong skills in eliciting business needs and translating them into actionable technical requirements

Other Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI development and integration
• Background in change management practices
• Familiarity with the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management activities and maintain documentation
• Create and manage Excel-based design and data tracking tools
• Conduct data mapping and validation exercises
• Perform business analyst testing with a focus on data quality assurance
• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
