Position Overview:
Our Admissions team at Atlas Healthcare Group plays a critical role as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking help for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This position is responsible for providing compassionate, informative, and solution-focused support to prospective clients via inbound and outbound calls, web inquiries, and referrals. The Admissions coordinator helps assess eligibility, explains treatment options, and guides clients through the intake process to ensure a smooth and supportive transition into detox and residential treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound Call Handling:
Respond to incoming calls from individuals, families, and referral sources seeking addiction treatment; provide accurate, empathetic, and timely information.
- Outbound Follow-Up:
Reach out to web leads, referrals, and previous inquiries to offer support, answer questions, and encourage admissions when clinically appropriate.
- Pre-Screening and Assessment:
Conduct initial pre-screen assessments to determine clinical appropriateness and eligibility based on program criteria, insurance coverage, and individual needs.
- Insurance Verification Coordination:
Collect insurance information and collaborate with the verification team to determine benefit eligibility.
- Crisis Support:
Provide calm and compassionate support to individuals and families in distress while maintaining professional boundaries and protocols.
- Documentation:
Accurately document all call interactions, assessments, and referral details in the electronic health record or CRM system.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with clinical, outreach, and intake teams to ensure a coordinated and seamless admissions experience.
- Admissions Process Navigation:
Assist clients with logistics such as travel arrangements, packing lists, admission times, and answering FAQs about detox and residential treatment.
- Confidentiality & Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and all internal confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, response time, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 YEARS SUBSTANCE ABUSE CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE
- 1+ year experience in addiction treatment, healthcare admissions, call center, or customer service
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and the recovery process is a strong plus
- Proficiency in electronic systems such as CRMs, EHRs, or call center platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $100,000.00 per year
