Field Structual Welder

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED (50% TRAVEL/50% SHOP)

Job Details: Capable of welding Bar Joist Reinforcement/ Capable of welding Carbon Steel Socket Welds

You MUST have at least 7 years of Field Welding & Fabrication experience.

This is NOT an apprenticeship program. You MUST be proficient in GMAW/FCAW/GTAW/SMAW welding. Aluminum/Stainless experience is a plus.

MUST have the ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, tape measurements, and basic math.

MUST have strong attention to detail and accuracy in the fabrication process

MUST understand material cut lists, be able to layout projects based on drawings, and weld/fabricate base on project specifications. Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabrication equipment, measuring devices.

Must be a Team Player, have good communication skills, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Must have the ability to safely operate a Forklift, Scissor lift, and Ariel Lift

Must have a Valid Driver's License and capable of driving a gooseneck trailer.

Must be able to work overtime as needed

You should be flexible to fabricate one-off custom items with a strong ability to think outside the box. In addition, you should be able to shift on the fly from project to project in order to accommodate for emergencies.

Compensation will be dependent on experience and welding abilities. Welding, Fabrication, and Blueprint Test will be given during the interview process
