Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m

We are seeking a loving, dependable, and energetic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our Montessori school community This position will cover an employee leave of absence and offers the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated teaching team in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom routines and activities that meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children.
  • Provide reliable coverage for staff absences while maintaining consistency for the children.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to uphold the Montessori philosophy and a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Bring enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism to the classroom each day.

Qualifications:

  • A loving and caring demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to follow directions, stay organized, and work cooperatively with others.
  • ECE units are helpful but not required.
  • Must have Livescan clearance and a current health screening (including TB test).

Compensation:

Pay is based on qualifications and the classroom positions you are able to support.
