Munich Re Specialty Global Markets North America (MRSGM N.A.) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.

We are seeking a full time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join the Shared Services division as a hybrid employee in our Schaumburg, IL office reporting to the VP, Marketing.

Job Profile

• Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including exhibitor kits, shipping, promotional materials, and event deliverables (ads, videos, print, giveaways, etc.).
• Manage internal communications related to event participation, including registration reminders, travel information, and post-event follow-ups.
• Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Lead to support event timelines, vendor coordination, and task management.
• Maintain and organize marketing materials and digital assets within SharePoint and other marketing platforms.
• Assist with CRM list management, marketing automation tasks, and updates to digital marketing materials.
• Support social media promotion and video content creation to extend event and brand visibility before, during, and after events.

Job Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, or a related area.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
• Professional certification(s) in event planning, digital marketing, or project management (e.g., CMP, Act-On, Hootsuite or similar) a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint or other content management tools.
• Experience using CRM and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Act-On, or similar).
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
• Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving marketing needs and deadlines.

MRSGM N.A. is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Schaumburg, IL. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Schaumburg, IL location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $50,000 to $70,000. In addition, the Company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, sick time, and paid vacation. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Schaumburg, IL. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
