Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining setting.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation regulations is essential.
