We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to drive high-impact analytics initiatives, lead complex data projects, and mentor data science team members. This role supports advanced modeling, predictive analytics, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field required
  • Master's in Data Science preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in data science
  • Healthcare, hospital, EHR, or revenue cycle data experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and data science lifecycle
  • Strong programming skills and experience with statistical tools
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences

Skills:

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and storytelling with data
  • Project management experience with ability to lead multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority analytics projects that drive organizational strategy
  • Mentor and provide technical supervision to data scientists and broader teams
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize advanced models, algorithms, and predictive tools
  • Perform research, analysis, and modeling on large, complex, and incomplete datasets
  • Provide actionable insights using advanced statistical methods and machine learning
  • Communicate findings clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Troubleshoot data issues and recommend scalable solutions
  • Evaluate data science vendors, tools, and methodologies
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Uphold organizational standards, safety policies, and professional development expectations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130, $135,000.00 per year
