Community Outreach Assistant (COA) – Growth & Connection Specialist
About the Role
This isn't a marketing assistant job. It's a mission role.
Our Community Outreach Assistant connects our clinic with the people we can help most — through authentic conversation, outreach events, and brand partnerships that grow our reputation and new-patient pipeline.
The COA is the bridge between our practice and the community. You'll organize, represent, and promote the clinic with professionalism, purpose, and heart. Every interaction you create should build trust, deliver value, and invite people to experience what we do best.
Who You Are
- Naturally warm, outgoing, and energized by people.
- Organized and able to juggle calendars, calls, and follow-ups without losing details.
- Confident speaking in public and one-on-one — whether it's in an office, a wellness fair, or on camera.
- Solution-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable with fast feedback.
- A doer with integrity — you say it, you do it.
- Social-media-savvy with a professional presence online.
- Genuinely passionate about health, community, and helping people take action.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute outreach: coordinate community events, partnerships, and in-office promotions that generate awareness and new patient appointments.
- Represent the brand: deliver our message clearly and authentically in businesses, schools, and community groups.
- Build relationships: follow up with event contacts, local businesses, and referral partners to sustain ongoing outreach pipelines.
- Manage communication: track leads and interactions in the CRM, keep the marketing calendar current, and provide weekly reports on outreach activity.
- Social & digital outreach: post updates, respond to comments/DMs, and gather testimonials that show real patient wins.
- Support internal culture: coordinate team participation at events, manage materials and displays, and keep the clinic's reputation top-tier in every interaction.
Success Looks Like
- Consistent scheduling of qualified new-patient opportunities.
- Organized, repeatable community connections that build our reputation.
- Strong event ROI through authentic conversations, not pressure tactics.
- A visible, positive presence for our clinic online and in the community.
Requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or community relations (health, wellness, or retail preferred).
- Working knowledge of CRM or scheduling systems.
- Reliable transportation; travel to local events is required.
- Flexible hours — occasional evenings or weekends for events.
Compensation & Perks
- Hourly range: $20–$25/hr (DOE) + performance bonuses.
- Complimentary care within the clinic (chiropractic, wellness services).
- Paid training in Natural Selling and outreach strategy.
- Growth path toward Marketing or Patient Experience leadership roles.
