Proposal Solutions Architect

Job Description:
Cimarron is seeking a Proposal Solutions Architect to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
This position supports a hybrid work schedule (i.e., 2 days of in-person work and 3 days of remote work).
Key Duties:
- Lead proposal development efforts for the IRES contract and all associated task orders, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Develop comprehensive business and technical solutions that align with customer requirements and company strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with technical personnel and subject matter experts to draft Basis of Estimates (BOEs), white papers, and capability statements.
- Identify and integrate new and emerging technologies into proposal strategies and long-term planning.
- Mentor and guide the Proposals team, promoting consistency, compliance, and quality across all deliverables.
- Ensure proposals meet all Request for Proposal (RFP) and base contract requirements through thorough reviews and compliance checks.
- Lead internal and external proposal meetings, brief senior leadership on proposal metrics, and support Government contract discussions.
- Maintain accurate and organized proposal documentation, including BOEs, BOMs, cost proposals, and supporting files in SharePoint and internal systems.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. - Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
- 8 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
- 3 or more years of directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: Proposal Development, Solutions Architecture, Cost/Price Analysis, Business Administration, Business Management.
- Direct experience in proposal development, including competitive proposal writing, drafting technical volumes, and developing innovative solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to perform effectively with minimal guidance under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Experience interacting professionally with Government customers.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsive, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
