Position Details: In this role, you'll provide direct nutritional care to patients, lead clinical initiatives such as formulary management, mentor staff and dietetic interns, and assist the CNM with scheduling and formula room operations.

We're looking for a full time Lead (Advanced Practice) Dietitian to join our nutrition team in an acute care medical center in New Orleans, LA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assesses the nutritional status of patients and develops nutrition care plans with documentation in the medical record
• Contributes to the implementation of clinical nutrition programs, policies, and procedures
• Supports clinical nutrition team members in colloboration with the Clinical Nutrition Manager
• Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state and accrediting agencies
• Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies where applicable
• Participates in facility-wide and departmental Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs

Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Minimum of two to three years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required
