Job Description

With its Logistics Division, the Daher Group is the French leader in industrial logistics, specializing in the management and optimization of logistics warehouses and supply chains for demanding sectors. It offers integrated and comprehensive logistics solutions, ranging from operational management to implementation, either on-site or remotely.

Position Summary​

The Warehouse Clerk supports efficient warehouse operations by managing material requests, handling inventory, and coordinating internal deliveries. This role includes loading/unloading trucks, material handling, inventory accuracy, and timely response to customer service requests (CSR). The clerk is also responsible for ensuring the correct and safe handling of hazardous materials, using SAP for inventory tracking, and supporting final assembly line operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments (includes verifying part counts, serial numbers, and paperwork).
  • Manage inventory control in SAP and maintain accuracy between system data and physical stock.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse stock, including labeling, bin upkeep, and stock replenishment.
  • Perform systematic transfers and investigate discrepancies (e.g., losses, damages, misplaced items).
  • Track and manage shelf life and OSHA-compliant storage of hazardous materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and move materials to appropriate locations (storage, buffer, line).
  • Deliver materials to final assembly lines and retrieve empty MDUs.
  • Pick, pull, and deliver materials based on pick lists or requests.
  • Support seat lift and prep processes as needed.
  • Manage LMR (Logistics Material Request) tool to fulfill requests and improve KPIs.
  • Track deadlines and escalate unresolved issues or missing materials to relevant teams.
  • Maintain constant communication with internal customers and supervisors to ensure shift continuity.
  • Enter material data into SAP for goods receipt and stock movements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping and receiving documents.
  • Organize and maintain required documentation.
  • Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down).
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials in line with OSHA guidelines.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Support general warehouse operations as assigned by supervisor.

  • GED/High School Diploma​
  • Able to drive a forklift​
  • G-suite proficiency

Physical Demands:

  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

  • Local travel (Mobile, Irvington, Theodore locations)
