Structural Design Engineer(Entry Level Position)

Who are we:

Elevated Engineering NYC was founded in 2020.

We are a client-focused structural design and engineering firm serving NY-Metro, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland and Florida development and construction markets.

The Opportunity:

EE NYC is currently growing exponentially and it needs more talented Structural Design Engineers, for our location in Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will have the following key attributes:


• Passion for structures & architecture


• Excellent communication skills


•Demonstrated teamwork abilities

Your impact:

  1. Perform structural design of new buildings.

  2. Analyze and design superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel & masonry.

  3. Utilize latest technology and digital tools for design.

  4. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who you are(required qualifications):


• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering


• 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience


• prior internship, leadership or coursework experience.


• Experience with Building Information Software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.


•Experience with Microsoft Office tools.


• Strong technical writing, analytical & communication skills.


• Detail oriented


• Must have the ability to work in the US immediately(no sponsorship available).

Preferred Qualifications:


• Recent Graduate or May 2025 from an accredited from a Civil/Architectural/Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate Program.


• Masters Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred


• Experience in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, and other design softwares or digital tools.

Compensation:

EE NYC provides with basic vision, dental, life insurance and commenter's benefits.

Expected Salary: $60k-$70k
