Concertina is seeking a detail-oriented System Implementation Specialist for our client in the smart transportation and vision systems industry. This role will lead the technical deployment of advanced vision system solutions for parking and transit environments. The ideal candidate will be the main technical point of contact during implementations—interfacing with client IT and operations teams, guiding implementation engineers, and ensuring smooth system configuration, integration, and performance validation throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Project Execution

  • Lead technical design, configuration, and deployment of vision system solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with client needs and the company's quality standards.
  • Manage and support project timelines alongside the Project Manager.

System Optimization & Validation

  • Fine-tune cameras, sensors, and software to meet contracted performance guarantees.
  • Validate and sign off on system installation and performance metrics.

Team & Client Collaboration

  • Guide implementation engineers and provide technical mentorship.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with client IT and operations teams.
  • Support onsite system validation and integration throughout the project lifecycle.

System Integration & Field Work

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and field testing of vision system hardware/software.
  • Travel to project sites as needed for hands-on validation and support.

Communication & Documentation

  • Provide regular technical updates to the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to and refine technical documentation and implementation processes.
  • Document project progress and report deliverables to stakeholders.

Training & Support

  • Conduct training sessions for client teams on system use and maintenance.
  • Support post-implementation transitions and troubleshooting.

Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and client-specific IT standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience in IT support, preferably within embedded systems or vision systems.
  • Familiarity with B2B environments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration and technical project execution.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Linux and Windows OS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate Python coding ability.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and system architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing collaboration.
  • Experience with vision system technologies is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are beneficial but not required.
