Job description

Kelly Box & Packaging has immediate openings for Machine Operators on 2nd shift (3:30pm-12:00am) Monday-Friday (with occasional overtime).

This position is responsible for operating a corrugated packaging machine. (Note - this is not a CNC machine.)

Candidates MUST possess the following requirements:

  • Experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability
  • Must be able to read and understand blue prints/job order cards
  • Excellent organizational skills & the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent to semi-frequent basis
  • MUST be able to work 2nd shift hours - 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday.
  • Must be able to pass a short math test which includes addition of fractions & reading measurements on a ruler (see example math test questions below)
  • Good attendance & safety habits
  • Able to pass a drug screen

Starting pay is $18.50/hour for 2nd shift. We offer our employees comprehensive benefits, including quarterly bonuses, medical, dental, life and 401K.

* Candidates MUST be able to add/convert fractions (i.e. 3/8 + 5/16 = ?) and read measurements on a ruler (where is 3/8" on the ruler?).
