Tom O'Brien Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM – Greenwood is seeking an experienced Sales & Finance Manager to join our team. This hybrid role combines traditional sales management responsibilities with automotive finance and insurance (F&I) leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the automotive industry, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and experience guiding customers through both vehicle selection and finance products. Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide customers with information about vehicles, features, and available financing options.
  • Negotiate pricing and effectively close sales.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on leads promptly.
  • Coach, support, and motivate the sales team to achieve department goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase showroom traffic and sales volume.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, manufacturer programs, and changes in the marketplace.

Finance & Insurance (F&I) Management

  • Guide customers through the financing and leasing process in a transparent, ethical, and customer-focused manner.
  • Present and explain F&I products (service contracts, GAP, warranties, protection packages) in compliance with all laws and dealership standards.
  • Secure financing approvals by working with lenders, banks, and credit unions.
  • Review credit applications, structure deals, and prepare all required documents for funding.
  • Ensure all deals are compliant with federal, state, and dealership regulations, including proper disclosure and document accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient transition from sales to finance.
  • Reconcile and submit contracts, ensure timely funding, and manage deal paperwork.
  • Monitor and improve F&I performance metrics, including product sales, gross profit, and CSI scores.

Additional Requirements

  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check
