Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, framing, drywall installation, light remodeling, and minor repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections of finished work to identify issues that require attention or repairs.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all work is completed to industry and management standards.
  • Respond promptly to service requests from management, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with other team members on larger projects or specialized tasks as needed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and carpentry techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for repair guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in completing tasks accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to speak English is a requirement.
