Immigration law firm in Newton, MA seeks a full-time hours) experienced business immigration paralegal to work onsite two to three days a week and remotely for the rest of the week. The position involves working independently while at the worksite.
The paralegal will prepare all types of employment and family-based immigration cases, including adjustment of status cases, PERM labor certifications, immigrant visa petitions (including NIWs, outstanding researcher, etc.) and H-1Bs. The paralegal will use an online immigration portal (INSZoom) and government websites to prepare LCAs, prevailing wage requests and PERMs.
Wages are on an hourly basis.
Requirements
- Authorization to work permanently in the US
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience as a business immigration paralegal or in a similar role within an immigration law firm.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
