Our client, a growing private equity firm based in Manhattan, NY, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. This is a hybrid role with 4 days in-office and Fridays remote; offering an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience across fund and management company accounting. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to the full fund lifecycle and contributing to critical financial operations. This role is perfect for someone looking to deepen their technical expertise while advancing within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Function

  • Handle fund accounting, including capital calls and waterfalls.
  • Support management company accounting and financial operations.
  • Collaborate with the deal team on compliance, operations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Engage with portfolio companies on M&A, budgeting, planning, and due diligence.
  • Contribute to strategic financial analysis and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in Private Equity.
  • Background in public accounting or a mix of public and fund accounting.
  • CPA preferred.
