Job Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and produce the desired results. You will plan and designate project resources, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the entire process. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact throughout the overall software implementation process.
- Develop and define project plan. Ensure project milestones, budget, training needs, and business and technical requirements are met within the agreed timeline and budget.
- Forecast and manage issues and risks associated with the project.
- Prepare weekly status reports and facilitate weekly status review meetings with customers.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all clients.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by prioritizing and escalating issues when needed and keeping customers informed of progress.
- Work cross-functionally with all teams regarding software enhancements, solving problems, and implementing changes, as needed.
- Assist with system configuration and demonstrate final system setup.
- Collaborate with Sales team to manage changes to the original Scope of Work.
- Provide end-user training and technical support during the implementation process as needed.
- Ensure effective transfer of information learned in training to the work environment.
- Ability to travel nationwide, up to 15% annually.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience in project management.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
- Budget management experience.
- Associate's degree.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Relational Database Management Systems.
- Microsoft SQL Server Database experience a plus.
- Experience working in the Human Services Industry.
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with managing government contracts a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree
