Duties

  • Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Take orders, recommend drinks, and provide friendly, attentive service to all guests.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, following food safety and food handling protocols.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations during shifts, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
  • Support catering events or banquet functions by providing beverage service in line with event requirements.
  • Follow all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and responsible serving practices.

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or nightlife environments such as nightclubs or banquets is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to manage sales efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an energetic attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating drink recipes accurately.
  • Experience in fine dining or food industry settings is a plus, along with catering or banquet experience.
