The Live Event Fleet Coordinator oversees the BearCom fleet of trucks, trailers, and video surveillance trailers. This role is responsible for managing fleet maintenance, repairs, and operations while ensuring technology and equipment are in optimal working condition. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, organizational skills, and effective communication with traveling teams and other departments.

Responsibilities
Fleet Management:

  • Responsible for the coordination and documentation of maintenance of rental trucks and trailers (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, greasing bearings, etc).

  • Track milage/time of each truck & trailer and coordinate with Project Managers and vendors to arrange maintenance. Of trucks/trailers that are in office and due for service, take them in yourself.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed on Trucks and Trailers.
  • Work with driving team to ensure they are using pre-trip checklists for trucks and trailers.
  • Ability to conduct basic maintenance and minor repairs, if necessary

  • Work with trailer vendors to create a maintenance schedule, along with major trailer repairs.

  • Manage the GPS accounts for all fleet vehicles and trailers.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment upon return to the home office before the next deployment.
  • Maintain troubleshooting and instructional documents for trailers and update as necessary.

Technical Operations

  • Ensure all trailers' WiFi and video technology infrastructure is functional before deployment. Verify firmware in video gear with Video Mgmt. Training Provided.
  • Test and inspect all systems in trailers before they leave home office for events. This includes:
  • Antenna Mast ft.) **Two Way Radio System **Battery Back Up System
  • Electrical System **Video Cameras **WiFi
  • Training provided on all systems **Document inspections and maintain database

Customer And Team Support

  • Work with Project Mgmt Team to coordinate oil changes and minor repairs in the field.
  • Ensure all trailers that come through the home office get fully stocked with supplies and are cleaned/organized.
  • Manage requests from teams in the field and replenish trailer supplies for trailers.
  • Learn and provide basic technical assistance for wireless equipment installed in trailers.

General Duties

  • Ensure compliance with BearCom policies and procedures.
  • Take on additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Licensing: Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Technically adept with the ability to learn on the job.

  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
  • Familiarity with RF technology is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong team collaboration and communication abilities.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/move up to 60 pounds.

  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including shop floors, office settings, event venues, and outdoor conditions.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.

  • Must pass a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Work Environment

The work environment includes office settings, shop floors, and outdoor venues. Employees may be exposed to wet, humid, or hazardous conditions, as well as moderate to high noise levels. Flexibility and adaptability to varying environments are essential.
