Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.

Now Hiring Hospital Security Officers for a local hospital in Dublin, GA

  • $16.16 / hour
  • Part Time Position
  • Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 8AM - 8PM or 8PM - 8AM

Role Duties Include:

  • Maintain a professional, highly visible presence throughout the hospital campus
  • Promote patient safety through proactive rounding, incident awareness, and skilled de-escalation
  • Assist clinical staff during emergencies, critical events, and high-stress situations
  • Perform visitor screening, manage access points, and deliver customer-focused support
  • Accurately document incidents and security-related activity
  • Participate in trained physical interventions and assist with deceased-patient transfers when required
  • Uphold hospital safety standards while ensuring patient dignity, confidentiality, and professionalism

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution (Cornerstone Christian is not accepted)
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience
  • Ability to successfully pass a federal 10-panel drug screen
  • Willingness to complete TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance
  • Professional appearance: no facial piercings, no facial/neck tattoos, and natural hair color
  • Ability to remain composed, confident, and dependable in high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly when emergencies arise

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
