The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data to prepare tax returns and estimates for individuals and entities. Other responsibilities for this Senior Tax Accountant will be to collaborate with clients to obtain necessary information, generate comprehensive work papers, and calculate quarterly tax estimates. The successful candidate will also participate in planning meetings, summarize discussions, and maintain accurate records. This Senior Tax Accountant will focus on ensuring the timely and precise preparation of tax-related documents while also providing training and oversight to staff members.

This is an in-person, on-site position in the Western New York area.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in Tax Accounting
  • Ability to multi-task and research taxation issues
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant, CPA
  • Master of Business Administration, MBA
