Job Summary

Raffurty's is seeking an experienced dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Sports Bar and Grill and hospitality environment. The Barback will play a crucial role in supporting the bartenders by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Assist bartenders with the preparation and organization of bar.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Stock and replenish supplies such as ice, garnishes, and beverages as needed.
  • Help with food delivery tasks to support kitchen operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume bar environment is required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and customers effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling practices.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from bartenders and management.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
