Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital
is growing their Radiation Oncology Department and would love to add an additional
Board Certified or Residency Trained Radiation Oncologist
to join our well established, rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital
About us:
WRAH is a 24-hour emergency/critical care, specialty and primary care veterinary hospital. We're proud to provide our clients with timely access to the most advanced veterinary specialists and emergency services available today in our 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. WRAH is equipped with sophisticated surgical facilities and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, including digital radiography, endoscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities and a full pharmacy. We have 28 exam rooms, 18 treatment tables, 7 surgery suites, an isolation suite, separate cat wards, 4 Snyder O2 cages and 30 large dog runs. We also have a blood bank, with a large donor population, and the ability to provide for all our own blood product needs. Our team culture is highly focused on learning and development, and we wear the badge of teaching hospital proudly. WRAH is part of the Veritas Veterinary Partners (Veritas) network of emergency and specialty animal hospitals. Within Colorado, there are two WRAH satellite Veritas hospitals – Veterinary Emergency Care Wash Park and Veterinary Emergency Care Lowry. Each hospital has its own unique identity that Veritas is committed to preserving while team members reap the rewards of being invested in as part of the broader Veritas network. Veritas believes in the power of the network's collective wisdom, yet it empowers each clinician to maintain what makes their personal practice special.
How you'll make a difference:
You will have the opportunity to work alongside our current Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist to provide the highest level of care to the patients of our community. Our Radiation Oncology department was recently remodeled in 2022, and we installed the Elekta Versa HD Radiation Oncology Machine.
You will have a passion for client education and be committed to working with our rotating interns. You view a challenge as an opportunity to grow and strive.
Schedule:
This is a full-time role, however, swings and one weekend day will be required.

- Our compensation is highly competitive, and full-time radiology doctors can expect to make over $250,000 / year or more based on experience and production
