Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive General Service Technician to join our awesome team This role involves performing a variety of vehicle maintenance and repair services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and a strong understanding of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections
  • Perform wheel alignments and tire services to manufacturer specifications
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
  • Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to improve your repair processes and skills

Requirements

  • Desire to learn, advance your skill set, be self motivated
  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to your assignments
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle systems including oil changes, tire replacement and repair, suspension components and filter replacement
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment
  • Positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
