Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: This entry-level role is ideal for a mechanically inclined engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment. We're looking for someone who can take the initiative, contribute to new product development, and bring fresh ideas to the table. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to design, prototype, and improve fire suppression systems used around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the design and development of fire suppression system components
· Create and modify 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
· Support prototyping, testing, and evaluation of mechanical designs
· Work hands-on with products, performing assembly, fit-checks, and troubleshooting
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, sales, R&D) to support product innovation
· Document engineering work, test results, and design changes
· Use standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) for reports and communication
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
· Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
· Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience (coursework, internships, personal projects)
· Problem-solving mindset with an interest in practical, real-world applications
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Creative thinker with a desire to contribute to product development
· Must be available for full-time, on-site work
