Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service.

Duties

  • Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations, ensuring all food handling practices are followed.
  • Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
