Description: We are a small, family-owned business looking to add staff to our warehouse team. We have been in the business of selling higher-end leather furniture for over 35 years and also offer furniture repair services. We are looking for someone to deliver furniture to customers' homes and help out around our warehouse.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday. Work hours are approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but some days run later depending on how busy we are. Guaranteed 40 hours per week if desired, and there are often opportunities for overtime. Our warehouse team typically works 35-45 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with GOOD to GREAT driving record. We will need to obtain a copy of your driving record from the DMV to verify that our insurance will allow you to drive our vehicles. Must have a perfect driving record if you are 25 years old or younger. Our insurance will not accept more than 1 moving violation within the past 5 years for drivers over age 25, and no major violations (DUI, etc). (Job is contingent on the driving record being acceptable by our insurance company).
  • Ability to lift heavy furniture (up to 300 lbs. with a coworker)
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse that is not temperature-regulated. The warehouse gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Fluent in English
  • Well-groomed, presentable appearance
  • Good attitude
  • Pre-employment drug-testing required
  • Starting pay is $ /hr. (depending on experience). Will re-evaluate after initial probation period (90 days)

Job Duties:

  • Unwrap and assemble furniture for delivery
  • Deliver furniture to customer's home
  • Receive furniture shipments at our warehouse
  • Move display furniture to and from store locations as needed
  • Miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned (e.g. hauling excess warehouse refuse to the dump, moving furniture between storage locations, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
