As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas.
• Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations to help to maintain order within the location.
• Document all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
