The Office of Career Development and Public Service at BU Law seeks an Employer Outreach and Recruitment Programs Manager to join our team. This position presents a unique opportunity to expand the variety of connections with legal employers on behalf of the law school and serves as a key ambassador for the law school with employers in all sectors. The Employer Outreach and Recruitment Programs Manager will: - Lead employer outreach efforts for the Career Development and Public Service Office. - Be responsible for cultivating relationships with employers on behalf of the law school in both local and target job markets to generate new job opportunities for law students and graduates. - Work collaboratively with the career advisors to promote the job opportunities to current students and graduates, and provide follow-up as needed with the employers. - Provide regular reports of their outreach, tracking the results of each connection made and measuring outcomes. - Manage all on and off campus recruitment programs, the mock interview program and coordinate all employer visits. - Liaise with law school faculty, senior administrators and law school consortium members. - Manage the First Year Student Career Conference, oversee the planning for CDO recruitment related programming, generate resources and communications for students to apply and participate in recruitment programs, and build relationships with job fair coordinators. Some experience in employer outreach or employer relations. Experience working with legal employers to recruit law students and law graduates. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills required. Strong attention to detail also required.
