Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Administrative & Outreach Coordinator to join our team In this vital role, you will serve as a bridge between our organization and the community, coordinating outreach initiatives, managing volunteers, and supporting program development. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help us expand our impact, foster meaningful relationships, and ensure smooth daily operations. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with diverse populations and enhance our outreach efforts. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of outreach programs designed to engage diverse community groups.
- Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to build a motivated and effective volunteer team.
- Develop marketing strategies utilizing social media platforms, community events, and traditional outreach methods to promote programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate public speaking engagements, workshops, and presentations to raise awareness about our services and initiatives.
- Oversee data collection efforts related to program participation, community needs assessments, and outreach effectiveness; analyze data to inform future strategies.
- Support program development by assisting in curriculum design, resource allocation, and partnership building with local organizations.
- Supervise staff or interns involved in outreach activities to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, preparing reports, and handling correspondence in both English and Spanish.
- Assist with fundraising efforts by helping organize events, writing grant proposals, or supporting donor engagement activities.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure cohesive service delivery and continuous improvement of programs.
Skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with diverse populations.
- Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams or staff members.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences confidently at community events or presentations.
- Demonstrated ability in program development, including designing educational or outreach initiatives tailored to community needs.
- Excellent project management skills with the capacity to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in marketing strategies with proficiency in social media management tools to enhance outreach efforts.
- Data collection expertise including survey design, data analysis, and reporting to evaluate program impact.
- Background in social work, public health or addiction counseling is a plus for understanding community needs deeply.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster collaboration, and promote organizational goals.
- Fundraising experience including event planning or grant writing is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong administrative skills such as record keeping, scheduling, report writing, and bilingual correspondence.
- Recruiting experience for volunteer or staff positions will support organizational growth initiatives.
- Teaching or training experience can enhance the delivery of educational components within programs.
